The Basics:

Who: You and Me.

What: Eating better. Specifically…Vegetables/Fruits…1000 of them over the next 100 days.

Where: Right here.

When: Right now.

Why: Because we’re quickly running out of time to get our lives together. You wouldn’t have found your way to this site, googling whatever it is you did, if you had already found a food plan that worked and that you could stick with forever.

How: Eat 10 servings of fruits and/or vegetables each day for 100 strait days. Other than that, you can eat anything else you want, just don’t be dumb.

That’s it. Those are the rules. If you’d like, I can add a few more details/guidelines:

  1. Fruits or vegetables = real fruits or vegetables. Not juice. Not canned fruit cocktail. You know, eat the stuff you buy in the produce section at King Soopers. If you have to ask, then it’s not a fruit or vegetable. If you look at it and think “that’s totally a fruit or a vegetable” then it counts.
  2. A serving = 1 apple. 1 orange. 2 cuties. 1/2 cup of most stuff. 1 cup of lettuce. Google it if you have to, round down if you aren’t sure.
  3. Examples of being dumb
    1. Eating a lot of junk food. ie. an entire bag of chips, 6 cans of Pepsi, a king size Snickers, etc.
    2. Eating 10 servings of raisins for breakfast…and then having 2 steaks and a dozen bagels for dinner. Come on…spirit of the law here people.
